Our mission is to become the safety validation layer for clinical AI.
Generative AI is entering clinical workflows at a pace traditional evaluation systems were never designed to support. Clinical documentation, patient-facing AI, decision support and operational copilots are already being deployed into healthcare environments where reliability, monitoring and governance matter deeply.
The challenge is that the infrastructure required to evaluate these systems continuously, independently, systematically and at deployment scale doesn’t exist.
In every high-stakes industry, evaluation and verification infrastructure evolves alongside the technology itself. Clinical AI is reaching that point now.
Fault Line was founded by people who have experienced this challenge firsthand while building and deploying clinical AI products. Our goal is to help healthcare AI teams build the safety evidence, monitoring systems and evaluation infrastructure required for responsible real-world deployment.
We help healthcare AI teams prove their products are safe enough to scale, so the best products can reach the people who need them.
The Fault Line Team.
Built by people who have scaled clinical AI inside regulated healthcare environments, and lived the evaluation problem firsthand.
Dr. Max Rollwage
Max previously served as VP of AI & Research at Limbic, where he helped build and scale one of the largest real-world deployments of generative AI in mental healthcare. His work spans clinical AI safety, evaluation and applied machine learning with more than 34 publications and 1,300+ academic citations. At Fault Line, Max leads the company’s evaluation methodology, adversarial testing systems and AI safety research.
Ben Carrington
Ben previously served as US General Manager and Head of Regulatory & Compliance at Limbic, where he led regulatory strategy, healthcare procurement and commercial deployment for one of the world’s first Class IIa regulated mental health AI chatbot. He has worked directly with healthcare regulators, health systems and procurement teams across the UK and US. At Fault Line, Ben leads growth, regulatory positioning and market development.
George Prichard
George is a former founder and CTO of Reti Health and Thought Saver, and has led ML teams at high-growth healthcare startups. Over the past decade, he has built and shipped AI systems across multiple healthcare and technology companies, leading engineering teams responsible for deploying production-scale machine-learning infrastructure. At Fault Line, George leads platform architecture, evaluation infrastructure and scalable deployment systems.
